Appointment for First-Time Patients

Our clinic operates by appointment only.
If you are visiting us for the first time, please make an appointment by phone or through our website before coming to the clinic.
To help us provide a smoother and more efficient consultation, we kindly ask you to bring a referral letter if available.
Depending on the procedure performed, recovery from anesthesia may take additional time. We kindly ask that you allow sufficient time for your visit.
Patients who do not have Japanese health insurance are required to pay the full medical cost in cash at the clinic.

What to Bring on the Day of Your Visit

Please bring the following items if available:

• Japanese health insurance card or My Number Health Insurance Card
• Medication notebook or list of current medications
• Previous medical records, imaging studies, or X-ray/MRI/CT data from other clinics or hospitals
• Referral letter from another doctor
• A light blanket, shawl, or extra layer for warmth during the resting period after procedures
• A face mask

Medical Interview & Consultation

During your consultation, we will review your medical questionnaire and discuss:

• When and where your pain started
• What makes the pain worse or better
• Previous treatments and their effects
• Past medical history and surgeries
• Current medications and allergies

We also encourage you to discuss any emotional stress, anxiety, or concerns related to your condition.
Based on your symptoms, we will carefully explain appropriate treatment options such as:

• Medication management
• Nerve blocks
• Radiofrequency treatment (RF/PRF)

We will also discuss the expected benefits, possible risks, treatment frequency, and estimated treatment course, and create a treatment plan together with you.

Examination & Diagnostic Evaluation

Depending on your condition, we may perform:

• Physical examination of the painful area
• Neurological evaluation including reflex and sensory testing
• Review of imaging studies from other hospitals or clinics

If necessary, X-ray or ultrasound imaging may be performed in our clinic to better identify the source of pain.
Additional tests will only be recommended when medically necessary, and we will explain their purpose and procedure in advance.

Treatment

Treatment is tailored individually based on your symptoms and condition.
Possible treatments include:

• Medication adjustment
• Nerve block procedures
• Radiofrequency treatment (RF/PRF)

When procedures are required, they are performed safely under X-ray fluoroscopy or ultrasound guidance to ensure accurate needle placement.
After treatment, patients will rest in the clinic while we monitor their condition before discharge.
The treatment plan and frequency of procedures may be adjusted depending on your response and progress.

Payment & Follow-Up Appointment

After your visit, payment will be completed at the reception desk.
Please note that payment at the clinic is accepted in cash only.
Patients who have registered a credit card through the Digikar Appointment System may also pay by credit card.
Patients without Japanese health insurance are required to pay the full medical cost in cash at the time of their visit.
If necessary, we will schedule your next appointment or procedure.

Important Information

Our clinic is fully appointment-based.
Appointment times may occasionally be delayed depending on medical procedures or emergency cases. We appreciate your understanding.
Please notify us of cancellations or appointment changes by the day before your appointment via our online booking system or by phone.
Please avoid no-show cancellations without notice.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping us make effective use of our limited appointment slots.
Our clinic is not designated for workers’ compensation insurance (Japanese Workers’ Accident Compensation Insurance).
If your visit is related to traffic accident insurance (Jibaiseki / automobile liability insurance),
please consult your insurance company before making an appointment.
